Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing.
• Identify, log, and track software defects in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman).
• Validate APIs using Postman or similar tools; write automated API test scripts where applicable.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release reviews to ensure product quality.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
• Ensure test documentation (test plans, test cases, test data) is up to date and well organized.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software QA (manual and automation).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
• Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium
• Postman / RestAssured for API testing
• JUnit / TestNG / Pytest for scripting frameworks
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
• Good knowledge of SQL and data validation testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential quality issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).
• Knowledge of cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Experience in financial, fintech, or banking domain testing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of API mocking tools and Docker environments.
