Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and PHP/Laravel for legacy systems.
• Build reusable front-end components and libraries to support long-term development efficiency.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express.js) and PHP/Laravel.
• Design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas, with a focus on SQL-based systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing platforms and applications.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including cloud-based tools such as AWS S3 and SES.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure code quality, performance, and project success.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend/full-stack web development, with strong hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and relational database design, with solid SQL expertise.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP principles, design patterns, authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of database optimization, query performance, indexing, and data modeling.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintaining existing/legacy applications.
• Good understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, reusable components, and coding standards.
• Experience working with external APIs, payment gateways, email services, cloud services, and other third-party integrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and SES is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js will be considered a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern full-stack development practices.
• Experience working across both Laravel/PHP and MERN-based applications will be an added advantage.
