Job Purpose

At AAKAR NIRMAN SEWA PVT. LTD. , the Draftsperson serves as a vital bridge between conceptual engineering and physical reality. You will work closely with our lead engineers and architects to transform preliminary sketches and design concepts into precise, quality technical drawings. Your work ensures that our construction company delivers accurate, buildable, and compliant documentation that helps to do the tasks in an efficient way for construction projects.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing: Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings, including architectural layouts, structural detailing, and civil site plans.
• Compliance & Standards: Review and adjust designs to ensure full alignment with NBC or local building codes.
• Collaboration: Partner with Engineers and Architects to refine design specifications, identify potentialconflicts, and suggest practical design improvements.
• Revision: Efficiently manage drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the most current versions.
• Data: Maintain a digital filing system and drawing register, following company-standard BIM or CAD policies.
• Site Coordination: Assist in on-site measurements and data collection to verify that "as-built" conditions match technical specifications.

Required Technical Skills

• CAD Proficiency: Mastery of AutoCAD is essential. Revit is optional
• Civil/Structural Modeling: Proficiency in Sketchup and CAD for site development and structural detailing.
• BIM Knowledge: Experience working within a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment is highly regarded. Software Agility: Familiarity with MS Office softwares for document management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Diploma or a degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 45-hrs of professional drafting experience, specifically within an engineering consultancy or Engineering Academy.
• Project History: Record of producing detailed construction documentation for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler. This is essential for traveling to various project sites and attending off-site coordination meetings as required.
