Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant shall oversee the complete accounting function of the company, ensuring
financial accuracy, statutory compliance, payroll management, and proper financial control
systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations (receivables, payables, cash flow, ledger maintenance).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and financial planning.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
2. Payroll, Tax & Compliance
- Manage salary processing for all employees.
- Calculate employee taxes and ensure timely tax payments.
- Ensure timely deposit of SSF and compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Manage employee-related financial benefits as per company policy and legal requirements.
3. Proforma Invoice (PI) Management
- Handle all matters related to Proforma Invoices from creation to final maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and timely issuance of PIs.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to Proforma Invoices.
4. Credit Control & Policy Implementation
- Ensure strict adherence to company payment policies (e.g., 50/50 payment policy).
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant departments for recovery.
5. Core Accounting System Management
- Maintain and monitor Cash Transaction Details (log of debits and credits).
- Manage Journal Voucher Details and ensure proper journal entries.
- Handle Credit Note Details and related documentation.
- Oversee Account Master Setup, ensuring accurate account descriptions and records.
6. Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline within the department.
7. Regulatory & Financial Coordination:
- Shall represent the company in meetings and manage documents/reports submission and follow-ups with banks, IRD, and any other authorities if necessary.
