Duties and Responsibilities

The DF Program Officer Culture (PO) reports to the Daya Foundation (DF) Culture Coordinator and for all administrative matters to the President. The PO is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation and monitoring of the DF Culture initiatives.  Specifically, the PO will be tasked to:

  • Assist in the development of DF Strategy on Culture program, including program planning with desired short term and long-term milestones and key deliverables;
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of a Partnership Strategy to scale up DF Program;
  • Under the guidance of the Coordinator play a lead role in the preparation of DF annual work program, budget, and other reports, including financial progress and monitoring & evaluation reports.  
  • Provide in a timely manner relevant status reports, including summary tablesand supporting materials, to DF Board and Management;
  • Work with the DF Coordinator to develop appropriate communication materials to enhance information flow on the status of DF activities, including the design and implementation of web-based tools to be available to interested partners;
  • Coordinate the preparing, updating, and printing of all communications, outreach materials, brochures, and etc. Ensure proper dissemination and awareness of the result of DF funded initiatives and partnership efforts. These shall include online dissemination, outreach and communications done via the DF website; 
  • Help organize and prepare for seminars, workshops and events; and 
  • Other works that DF Management and Board may require.

Required Skills & Qualities:

  • College degree
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Basic design and computer proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
