We are looking for a motivated Python Development Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate will assist with backend development using Python and FastAPI while gaining hands-on experience in web application development.

This role is ideal for a fresher who is eager to learn, has strong problem-solving skills, and is interested in building practical experience in Python development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate frontend applications seamlessly with FastAPI backend services and REST APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and PostGIS databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Learn new technologies and development practices quickly.
• Provide training, technical guidance, and support to internal teams when required.
• Assist in identifying and resolving application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic to strong proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with FastAPI or other Python web frameworks.
• Basic understanding of frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Angular is an advantage.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Awareness of PostGIS or geospatial databases is an advantage.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and application optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
