DigiUmbra Group is seeking a creative Video Editor Intern who can transform raw footage, screen recordings, graphics, and ideas into engaging visual stories. You will create content for social media, advertisements, product promotions, company profiles, and client campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content.
• Create reels, promotional videos, product demos, explainers, and corporate videos.
• Organize and select the best footage, audio, graphics, and supporting assets.
• Add transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and basic motion graphics.
• Apply colour correction and basic audio enhancement.
• Resize and optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams.
• Revise videos according to internal and client feedback.
• Manage project files and deliver exports in the required formats.
• Research editing styles, visual trends, and creative references.

Requirements

• Currently studying, recently graduated, or self-trained in Multimedia, Film, Design, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Basic video-editing knowledge and a strong sense of timing and storytelling.
• Familiarity with at least one editing application.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, resolution, frame rates, and export formats.
• Ability to follow creative direction and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and willingness to improve through feedback.
• Access to a capable editing computer is preferred.
