Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
Strong math skills (e.g. Probability, Statistics, Algebra)
Strong Understanding of machine learning and operations research
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
Good knowledge in exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain insights into patterns, trends, and relationships within the data
Strong knowledge of Python and familiarity with Scala, R, and AWS is an asset
Good knowledge of data structures, OOP, GIT etc.
Experience in Data Visualization using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau or Power BI) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
Demonstrated experience designing, conducting & analyzing A/B tests, and familiarity with hypothesis and significance testing.
Experience teaching technical material in a classroom as well as conference setting
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Analytical mind and business acumen
Problem-solving aptitude
Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
MSc Computer Science or BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; a graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
