Major Roles and Responsibilities

• Maximizing network availability and network infrastructure security. Provide support of Cisco/Juniper router/switches.
• Install, configure CCTV with related components and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware/peripherals used.
• Maintain network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
• Ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of performance.
• Manage server operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
• Consult with supervisor and Customer to proceed on the tasks at hand
• Negotiate and contract with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products
• Communicate with clients either face-to-face or over the phone to update or resolve any issues
• Establish and control systems access and security
• Must adhere strictly to the policies related to security.
